no , bp are not considered " weapons " , as per md law .

Yes, and interestingly enough, you can carry them concealed or openly, as the law states it is for "regulated" firearms, and BP is not. But just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Now is not the time to test those waters, as so much violence is perpetrated by mentally ill folks of the Progressive side, who knows how the poor, over-burdened police might respond to seeing some one with a firearm in a low-slung holster.
