You can make the Magpul BAD work on the 15-22 if you bend the arm a little in a press.
Other than that the levers are only really useful when you are shooting in some kind of match where you need to run multiple mags (PSA Rimfire Challenge is one). But if you do tactical mag changes on the fly that can be even faster.

It also makes it easier to hold the bolt open. Instead of pushing it, you pull it with your finger tip and it locks. The NDZ speed bolt release also works on the SIG 716 since the magpul bad lever doesn't fit.

One of the issues that pops up sometimes after mounting one of these is that many times the extra weight on the bolt release handle will sometimes cause it to fail to keep the bolt back. The extra weighs slows its action down and sometimes it won't flip in time to catch the bolt. I also found that sometimes in competition pulling the mag out will cause the bolt to release from the exta weight on the handle also. One reason only my 3-gun AR currently has a BAD lever on it.
