As title reads...looking to load some BP/sub 2 1/2" 12GA hulls for a shotgun I'll reveal when it comes back from getting its makeover. I've never loaded BP hulls, just muzzleloading shotguns (which I'm extremely fluent with), and wad sizes vary. My question:
What gauge/size overshot and overpowder cards and fiber wad should be used to effectively work in the plastic hulls? I read 14GA somewhere...but I can't confirm anything.
Just in advance...I don't want to use plastic wads or anything else except traditional cards/wads. I will be roll crimping these and want a nice tight shot column, so the right size wad and cards is imperative.
