Beretta APX Carry and Optics

Did a search every darn where, and either Google-Fu sux, or there ios nothing written in the interwebs at all about it.

Beretta has been no help as their call in tech support is not in service, and they wont answer emails, either...

But enough whining and belly-aching.
I scored a good deal on an APX carry. Took that pup to the range, and was pleasantly surprised with it's accuracy at 21 feet. It also ois quite comfortable to handle, too.
The nice thing is it has an Optic cut on the frame. So when I saw a good deal on-line for a Crimson Trace Optic, I snatched it up. Problem is, I can't find anything that says it is for the APX Carry with a Crimson Trace sight...Google gave me a forum where it said the Delta Point Pro plate, but that is no where to be found. Crimson Trace says it is a J-Mount adapter, what ever that is...

I know there are folks smarter than me here. Any help?

Well, who's to say any conflict I may encounter will be with-in that short of a distance?
