Own a G reaction rod for ar stuff and have aluminum armory blocks (6in) with bit standard barrel profile cuts for grabbing milspec ar barrels when needed. For quality bolt guns, I have a bench source machined bbl vise that works well. For factory barrel removal, usually suggest a three or four jaw chuck in the lathe with the headstock locked down.

    All depends on intended use.
