I got a call moments ago regarding a Montgomery County FFL Permit Holder having been burgled or attempted, apparently.

Should MDS have a Central repository for ATF notifications?

I get these fairly regularly as I’m an FFL 03, they get posted in many locations due to the locality of the event which triggers the notification.
‘Should the ATF have their own thread and where should it reside?

    Let’s discuss.

There is a thread about it. I got a call a few minutes ago as well. I think it was Atlantic Guns. It happened the other day.

I saw it just after my post, that’s why I posed the question...I guess “The Capital Region is the best place for ATF Notes because it’s a Fed thing.

I got the email at 8:18 this morning - here it is.

This is an important message from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. A Federal firearms licensee in Montgomery County, MD has experienced a burglary that resulted in the theft of firearms. Please ensure the security of both your inventory and property and report all suspicious persons or activity to your local police department. Additionally, notify ATF at 888-367-5762 if you find any of your firearms missing, lost or stolen.

I got the email. I also got a phone call at 8:30 indicating that there was an important message - please press a number key on the phone. I hung up. The phone call did not indicate that it was from ATF. I had a similar call a week so ago. I suppose that was the ATF calling.

I think I've gotten 3 or 4 calls in about a week from the ATF about burglaries in MoCo and I think one was in PG county.
