Sure. I'm still waiting for it. How do they tax when you cash chips out at the cage? If I cash out 10 chips, they have no idea if I walked in the place with 5 chips already in my pocket. They cannot possibly track every player through a casino and every table they went to, count their winnings and losses and follow them to the cage and tell the cashier to issue that person a form.
My money goes to a bank so probably safer to have it arrive before leaving the casino than later in a day having to brave thieves in between. The purpose would not be to have a money trail beyond keeping the casino and banks honest and covered as far as responsibility to transact properly.
But no. Unless you're a whale playing and winning a lot, they're not doing a direct deposit from the cage.
