I didn't read anything anti-gun here. Mentioned they want to find ways to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. They could start by reopening asylums where they used to keep people who were very unstable and dangerous.

House Republicans have an incredible opportunity to propose a bill that addresses criminals with guns, and the dangerously mentally ill without violating 2A rights.

We need to form a group "Common Sense People paying Their Fair Share Against Gun Violence Because Of Obama Had A Son He Would Look Like Us" and get this done.

Like rolling back decades of progressive liberal tripe such as turning the mentally ill out on the street, the revolving door 'justice' system, and repeal of death penalty laws ?

ANYTHING that is done behind closed doors, especially with 'Backdoor Boehner' at the helm, will cause more than damage than good. IF it's THAT friggin' important to pass a 'common sense' gun law, do it in the open so we 'know what's in the bill' BEFORE they pass it.

Face it, the gov'mnt has lost the trust of the American people. Just look at the number of scandals that broke in the last week. Couple those with F&F, ObamaCare, bailouts, and others where we have found out after-the-fact of how we have been screwed, and you can easily understand why.

Any politician that can't say 'NO to Drugs' (of power and control) should NOT be in office, let alone cutting backdoor deals ... especially crybaby Boehner.

    JMHO ...

    JMHO ...

I'd go back to liberals eliminating the use of corporal punishment. Look at the the history of crime rates where (when) corporate punishment was quickly administered. London in 1900 had only 2 gun murders, yet NO laws banning guns, regulating guns etc, but they did have corporal punishment. Crooks 'got a taste" on more minor crimes and didn't go back for a larger slice. so to speak.
