AR15 Lower Spring Question

Are the takedown pin, pivot pin, and safety springs the same spring?

I believe the pivot springs are slightly longer than the the safety spring.

No.

The takedown and pivot pin springs and detents are identical. (and reversible)

The selector spring and detent are very different from the pin springs and detents.
(the detent looks like a little bullet and is not reversible)

The safety/selector spring is stiffer and (i believe) slightly shorter.

The safety/selector spring is stiffer and (i believe) slightly shorter.

Shorter, wider and stiffer.
Won't fit in the pin spring/detent holes.

But the pin springs will fit in the channel and hole in the grip for the selector
spring and detent.
That is a common assembly mistake and usually discovered after you've bolted the grip on.
Reversing the selector detent is common too.
