AR pistol buffer tube assembly question

I am almost done my 9mm (what will be a) AR SBR. I have the wait for the ATF paperwork (which I haven't sent off yet). I am going to build it as a pistol so I can shoot it while I wait. I have a heavy buffer and spring already. I just need the tube and I am good to go, correct?

I received a couple opinions on this subject from a couple different people. From my understanding the lower has to start as a pistol when the paperwork is done.

It is a virgin lower. It has never been a rifle. It will become a SBR when I get the paperwork back from ATF.

That's pretty cool. It ships in 60 days, though. I just want to set it up as a temporary thing so I can shoot it suppressed while I wait to put a stock on it. I just need a pistol buffer tube if I have the buffer and spring, right?

The shipping is actually a lot quicker than stated, Chad put me onto them for my piston AR, other sites that have them ship quicker - I got mine is less than 5 days.
