Seen these used on AR's in 3 gun competition.
Trying to find a mount that would allow my back up iron sights to be at a 45* angle to the left of my red dot.
I'm a lefty so they will need to be to the left of scope.
Seen forgrips with picatiny rails at a 45*. But do they make offset mounts or sights that mount to the top rail but with 45* offset? :)

If you are running a red dot why wouldn't you just run regular BUIS in the up position and use a lower 1/3 co-witness?

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't really see a point in using offset BUIS with a red dot.

I have started adding them to most of my rifles. There are those offset rail mounts that would allow rail mounted sights to be mounted on either the right or the left. There are also similar mounts with permanent sights attached but only in RH that I know of. My major rifle has a 10-40x on top 3/8moa with offset sights I made copying M1 NM sights. Now I am contemplating adding an offset cowitness red dot. I am also setting my 10-22 up the same way with an 8-24x on top.
