Frankly, I don't like M-LOK any more than I liked Keymod. I think they're both lame. I loved MI's SS series rails. They were great. Of course, anything I fall in love with gets canceled. It's the story of my life. They were light, configurable, would swallow most cans. They were perfect.

This is nice. I think I am going to forget about the Hera hardware. And forget about changing out the handguard. I think for sure I'll lose the Hera foregrip. Might get a simple grip. I'll have to model this out on a bench rest and see what is comfortable. This is purely for long-range shooting. And I might just get a new stock and lose the Hera stock too. That Hera stuff was an impulse buy anyway (it was on sale). I have the Gen1 Hera setup on my 300 BO and like it but after playing around with the Gen2, I am really not a fan. I think I will be better off with a traditional stock with an adjustable cheek pad. I was looking at the Magpul but it is expensive.
