I'm looking at my potential schedule for April and it is really booked up all over the region.

    April 5 USPSA/IDPA at Peacemaker
April 6 3-Stage Falling Steel at MPC
April 12 NRA Action Pistol (Bianchi Cup) at Peacemaker (Speed Steel at MPC)
April 13 3man/3gun at York (Rimfire Falling Steel at MPC)
    April 15 IDPA at Thurmont
April 19 NSSF Rimfire at Sanner's Lake (3gun at Peacemaker also)
April 20 Day of rest! Yeah!
April 26 NRA National Defense Match at Peacemaker
April 27 PSA Shootout at Palmyra

    I think that is it.

Cav looks to be a little over 2 hours from me in NOVA. Anyone have any info on their matches, want to see if it's worth the drive, thanks.

I don't know much but I've heard it is full. I was trying to find more info on it and didn't have any luck. I do know that they regularly have a match on 5th Saturdays.

What about this upcoming weekend? Nothing on my schedule.
Me neither. I was going to enter the 3-gun an Mifflin this weekend but passed on it because I have to hold a moving sale at my place this weekend. Plus I almost killed my right knee at the PNTC 3-gun earlier this month and it is just now feeling better. Sanner's Lake is normally a little too far for me to go for a club event but I told them I would come down for the rimfire match to talk about their NSSF Rimfire Challenge regional they are putting on July 20
and help them out. Same deal with the Lewistown event in Oct. in PA.

Ah, Cavalier. Better have your ammo dialed in to 500 yards for the last stage. I loved that place. Worth the drive.
Sounds like it might be something to do later in the year. Have never shot my 3-gun AR past 300 yards. I will have to check the scope out at 500 yards on the farm soon anyway.

Anne Arundel is having a rimfire event on Sunday 3/30.
PM me if you are an IDPA SO and interested in an IDPA match in the area on Sunday.

That's the only time I bust out the 6.8 AR for a competition.

BTW, I thought I was going to be busy with 4 in a month.

If it wasn't a 3-gun match I would bust out my 6.8 also but you are expected to be able to hit out to 600 yards in all the major 3-gun events so for 500 yards I would just be busting out heavier match grade ammo, mostly in the 68-69g range.
I usually do at least 4 events a month at MPC, even in the winter.

8 is what I aspire to. I'll be hitting 4 CAS matches, I'm hoping at least one bowling pin match, one or two IDPA matches, and maybe a 3-gun match or two in June.
