Congrats! My timeline is exactly the same as yours, except my submitted date was 12/10/22. Accepted date and NICS dates are identical. Will I get an approval tonight, maybe tomorrow??? We will see...

Some of the delays have been found to be issues with USPS. Where you live dictates what USPS facilities handle your mail. Some of the facilities have known issues with processing speed. Once it leaves MSP’s facility, it is out of their control.

There were a couple occasions of logistical issues with printing that caused a hiccup or two back in the height of the process between July and September/October. Those card printers are pumping out a lot of cards so there’s always the chance of a hardware breakdown, too.

I was feeling e same way. Mine took 18 days after NICS check.
Praying it shows up at the mailbox in a week or two.

when I got approved last week. I printed the e mail that listed the nics date as the day before approval date.
Never did receive a e mail or notice of being assigned nics. Still waiting on permit in hand.

NICS to “approved” is, relatively, irrelevant. NICS can occur anytime after “accepted”. The “accepted” to “approved” day-count is what you want to be comparing.

That being said, it looks like they are moving at a pretty good pace, currently. Down significantly from what it was a few months back.
