How do you check to see if your NICS check has been done

Log in click blue button continue to dashboard for over to hgp application tab and click print application and it will show on the top left with the number and date it was completed

I got 3 emails. 1 when my application was submitted, 1 when it was accepted and 1 when my permit was approved. No other notification at all.

I never even got an approval email, but I found out when they added page seven.

This leads me to believe the email generation of status changes requires manual generation on the part of the examiner. I don’t believe these exceptions would happening the process was automatic

WOW! 3,200 applications started on Saturday.

Willing to bet they’re using the same sequence for approvals and applications. More believable to me that there’s 1300 new applications & approvals in two days.

Though @BikingMD application number is higher than mine despite my submission and accepted dates being several days later.

UPDATE: NICS number also on application now - change made within the last couple of hours.

UPDATE TO LAST UPDATE:

Just noticed that my original NICS date of 9/21 (with the NICS number missing) was changed to a NICS date of 9/23 when the number was added...interesting

This has me on my toes now...I was also 8/10 accepted

I'm 8/9 and no approval. There appear to be some small outliers but I wouldn't count those a normal. They are still approving 8/5 applications.

I agree. I've had one as well and also a SS clearance and I'm still waiting on an 8/9 acceptance.

Yeah, I wasn't sure but was very surprised to get mine earlier than expected. Not sure what the reasoning is then. Maybe location? Or my investigator is kicking everyone else's ass with approvals lol

I think I figured it out. I started my application a good bit before submitting it as I wanted to be able to submit the second I finished my classes, so filled everything out that I could and saved it for when I finished classes.
