I got 3 emails. 1 when my application was submitted, 1 when it was accepted and 1 when my permit was approved. No other notification at all.

The submitted and the accepted. Nothing about assigned to investigator, NICS or anything else.

Goto your dashboard on the msp site and select print where your app info tab is located it will be printed top left of the page

they only notify for approval/deny/or hold, NICS is nothing one day it is not there then next it is.

Its been done but it can be re-done. NICS is just something that gets done but does not mean anything when it comes when approval will happen.

Willing to bet they’re using the same sequence for approvals and applications. More believable to me that there’s 1300 new applications & approvals in two days.

Though @BikingMD application number is higher than mine despite my submission and accepted dates being several days later.
