The city has been permit less carry for years.

I've mentioned this a few times to people that clutch pearls about "all the guns". Every state has permitless carry, some are just more legal than others.

Bruen mentions constitutionally protected conduct, and I like that phrase a lot better than the old standby of law abiding.

Hope its not long now. But i didn't know it was in person interviews.

Less than 1% of all applicants have been interviewed since last July. Those interviews have been conducted by zoom or phone call.

Without questions about your “reason,” there’s no need to speak with anyone.

Haha agreed.

I can see them running NICS and maybe somehow validating the training course certificate. Anything else is a complete waste of time. The approval should be next business day in all cases.

NICS is just one of many databases MSP checks.

Mine went to “Assigned to Investigator” Saturday same day my NICS hit 30 days. Still sitting in that status today.

That would be the next step, it took my application exactly 1 month to go from NICS to Investigator Assigned.

Based on all the other posts/replies I've seen, it appears that the process from beginning to end takes about 2 months? So, I won't be expecting to receive card in hand until middle to late March.
