Mine has said "Submitted" for almost 2 weeks now but not showing Accepted. Is this normal?

I'm going to say no but they have 90 days. Took me 12 years from my first application LOL

Something is strange with a friends app, not in a bad way for him.

I helped him do it, we submitted it 11/12 accepted 11/18 nics 11/18.

I keep seeing people who have weeks and weeks from applied to nics, let alone accepted.

Does it have a NICS number too or just a NICS date? Initially the NICS date will mirror your acceptance date then the date will change once you get the NICS number.

Your right no ncis number. I did not remember how mine went but I was one of the apply on june 23rd people.

I was an early applicant as previously mentioned. Yes your NICS date matches your acceptance date until entire background check is completed. Then you have a NICS number and a new date

I’ve been approved on 11-16-22 and my permit still hasn’t arrived yet. I do have the USPS informed delivery and it’s not showing it. I hope it comes before the holidays.

If you check out the data from a few posts back, you'll see that the current average is about 65 days from Acceptance to Approval.
