Please contact me, I have him.
Tell me something about him only the real owner would know.
He's safe, watered , fed & sheltered, for now, but I can't keep him for ever.

Good for you for taking him in temporarily.

I wonder if he was spooked out of his yard by some of the early fireworks.

Years ago we had a ditzy lab mix that would get frantic trying to get away if she heard thunder while she was outside. We practically had to check the weather before her potty breaks.

Glad the dogs I have now aren't bothered a bit by either.

Good on you for taking him in.

If you take him over to a vet they can scan him and see if he's chipped.
I hope you can find his owners.

July 4 is the day with more reports of lost dogs than any other. This poor guy just got a jump on the crowd. Thank you for helping him, hopefully he gets home soon.

I was going to do that tomorrow, but his worried sick mother turned up & he's safely back home now.
We were having multiple raging thunderstorms just before I think that's what spooked him.
