Well in the spirit of spite, shall we make this the 'expensive cases featuring sexy foam cut-outs (NSFwallets)' thread?

Im sure theres a way to edit the title...

I have a few more cases I need to cut soon but here's one

WOW. The wife and I are going to Africa in August and we've just acquired two Pelican 1750's to transport the rifles. How did you cut the foam? It looks like a real pro job.

I cut them out with a 8" chef knife on my picnic table in the back yard .

Cleanest method is to use a hot wire setup. Very DIY.

An electric carving knife works great for cutting the foam on these too.

But let me pick your brain, you have both what are some of the major differences.

From what I see online didn't seem like too much. But please let me know what I'm missing out on in my world of overly burly case ownership!

I am going to Montana Long range shooting in Sept. I have one already but need another for my other rifle. 1750 Pelican....Anyone have one for sale...or know where to get a used one???? PM me

Very nice. I bought a Boyt double rifle case (very similar to Pelicans) for moving some 'goods' via airplane and I'm very impressed. Bulletproof.
