Specifically from the plastic one to the metal one. I have a question.

Does the safety detent plate that was with the plastic safety have to go with the metal one as well? I did not install it since it seemed like the detents were built in to the metal safety.

I can not find the answer to this online. So, with metal safety, metal detent plate or no?

I hope not cause ill never get that safety screw out again lol.

The new metal safety will last longer if the metal plate is in there, and make a smoother transition from safe to fire.

Crap. I don't think i'll be able to get that screw out. It's an oddly designed screw.

    Thanks for the reply though.

If you're referring to the safety screw it's not that hard to get out. You can either go tot he store and buy the right bit for it, discover it's a horrible piece of junk bit or just go get a set of punches and use those to tap the screw out. My replacement metal safety came with a regular ol philips screw to use instead.

Make sure you don't lose the little ball though. I was told to lock the action back to prevent it from falling in the receiver but I did it with a 930 so I don't know if that's different.
