    Any fellow bullet casters here? And if you do, do you cast for handgun, rifle, or both?

    I happen to cast for both. The vast majority of mine is 105-gr LSWC's for .38 Special, with some work done for .44 Spl/Mag and .45 Colt. On the rifle side, it's a 310-grainer meant for the Mosin-Nagant.

    Yep, I started a thread here a few years ago asking if others here casted bullets. If I remember correctly it had a lot of responses.

    Yes. Recently one of my 6.5 grendel rounds was cast in the role of our savior.

    I do, 9mm and 45LC and also 30-30 (2000 fps), 30-06 (2400 fps tested to 2600 but grouped better)and 6.8 SPC (2200 fps, limited by case capacity to go faster). Last three gas checked and powder coated

    Ah, I should've searched first. Thanks for that. In that thread is a Jerry Miculek video about his cast lead bullet trap. Mr. Miculek really is pretty darn self-sufficient. Apparently he's a certified welder and machinist and made that thing himself.

    I suppose I should post in that thread. :-) Mods, feel free to close this one since it's a duplicate.
