Long story short, had a chance to snag a BA50 a couple of months ago. I'm planning to head out to WV next weekend and was planning to take it with me. However, when chambering any kind of round, the bolt fails to go home once the round is chambered. As best I can tell, the extractor claw won't snap around the rim of the cartridge, this is the case no matter how tight or loose I have the screw securing the extractor to the bolt. If there's anyone on this forum that owns one, did you have similar problems? If so, what was the fix?

Can you remove the extractor and operate the bolt to insure it goes fully into battery? If so, maybe some metal filings got into the extractor/spring area and are keeping it from operating properly.

Yes, without the extractor installed, the bolt will go into battery, it'll also go into battery if I slip a cartridge rim in under the claw.

Was finally able to work on it again today. Cleaned the ever loving snot out of the bolt and extractor. That still didn't solve the issue, I finally had to file/polish the surface of the extractor claw that initially contacts the rim upon chambering. A small amount of loctite and some tweaking with snap caps later, and it chambers like a champ now.
