Just got this from email from SAF, about nation wide constitutional carry
With a declared state of emergency there is more need to carry a gun to protect yourself and your family.
The question is how hard to the overloaded authorities look for missing scumbags during SOE conditions. The answer in most rural areas is "not at all" to "not very hard". I have family that has been hit hard a few times by hurricanes in rural NC and the standard response is to hang a piece of plywood near the junction of the county road with "looters will go missing" on it. Most of the folks on their side road own tractors, backhoes, skid loaders, etc as they have 5-50acre properties and many have livestock. When Fran came through, the area was without electricity for over two weeks.Do any states (e.g.- those vulnerable to natural disasters) allow use of a weapon (e.g.- a firearm) to discourage / defend against looting (e.g.- during a declared state of emergency)?
Rooftop Koreans...Do any states (e.g.- those vulnerable to natural disasters) allow use of a weapon (e.g.- a firearm) to discourage / defend against looting (e.g.- during a declared state of emergency)?
...Everything You Need To Know, other than how many of the "over 12,000 people had been arrested" for defending property.Rooftop Koreans...
The Republic of Korea’s military is another key part of the story with regard to the Roof Koreans. Far from an untrained mob of men who took up with arms sans training, the Roof Koreans were, by virtually any definition, “a well-regulated militia.” Many of them had experience in the South Korean Army, as South Korea has conscription with very few exceptions.
It’s worth noting that virtually every weapon used by the Roof Koreans to defend themselves, their businesses, their communities and their families would be against the law or, at least, highly restricted today. “High capacity magazines” (anything over ten rounds) are against the law and there is a 10-day waiting period for all firearms purchases. As the riots lasted five days, this would have put anyone who had not already purchased a firearm in a seriously precarious position.
Complicated.Do any states (e.g.- those vulnerable to natural disasters) allow use of a weapon (e.g.- a firearm) to discourage / defend against looting (e.g.- during a declared state of emergency)?
I don't know about the laws in Florida but...Do any states (e.g.- those vulnerable to natural disasters) allow use of a weapon (e.g.- a firearm) to discourage / defend against looting (e.g.- during a declared state of emergency)?
Didn't see a single reply supporting what they said. Getting shredded.
Newtown Gun Control Group: No Such Thing as 'Constitutional Carry'
Gun control group Newtown Action Alliance responded to a constitutional carry push in FL, claiming, "no such thing as 'constitutional carry.'"www.breitbart.com
Everyone is born with those rights that are endowed by their creator, the constitution simply prohibited the government from infringing on those rights.Just to be clear, there is no such thing as “constitutional carry”. The constitution didn’t give anyone the right to carry guns publicly without permits, background checks, or training. This term was fabricated by the gun lobby to push for its any guns to anyone everywhere agenda https://t.co/12tVmLZDV2
