Thanks for the advice CCPatriot! I do plan on talking it up a little bit and getting her comfortable with having a gun before I take her to the range and get her shooting.
I was able to pick it up today! I went straight to the range and put 50 rounds of .38 spl through it. I love the grip and the way it fires, no issues with it so far. My aim was decent when I cocked the hammer back and fired SA, but I need to work on my trigger squeeze for DA. I plan on getting plenty of practice in as long as I can find/afford ammo.
