This'll hold twice the rating. Look at the weight of the unit too it is majorly beefy. I have a similar metal cabinet with shelves and I loaded up the shelves with ammo no issues at all.

I have the wall mount version of this and I agree. Even at 150lbs, that is two cases of 223 per shelf.
