I seem to recall they used to be related, or someone from one of these split off to start the other or something. They were pretty much direct competitors for a while.

    Anyone remember the story?

The people who started AIM back in the early nineties, I believe, used to work for SOG.

When I had my gunsmithing business, I worked with many of the importers like Century, FIE, Interarms, Navy Arms, SAAMCO. From talking to those guys, it seemed that the buyers used to jump around quite a bit.
