Maybe skill or just good luck, but I had this recently approved SBR in 45 ACP at the range Thursday and was able to nail 8 and 10" gongs past the 100 yard line at AGC shooting off-hand. My son was also shooting with me and was also able to make the same off-hand shots. After trying various things, here is what I settled on in the build:
1. CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback bolt and barrel
2. MILSPEC lower and PCC upper with larger opening for 45 ACP.
3. MVB magwell insert that accepts HK USC mags.
4. VLTOR buffer system.
5. MAGPUL furniture.
6. Rugged Obsidian can and tri-lug pinned and welded to the barrel for a 29+" OAL.
7. CMC 3.5# straight trigger.
8. EOTech holographic optic.
