You're wrong. End of story.
If you think otherwise, put your money where your mouth is and bet your freedom on it. Convince an FFL to submit the paperwork a month or two after the fact, well after the FFL has given you the handgun. Make MSP fully aware. See how well it goes for you and the FFL.
So you disagree with the official guidance given in the code?
And where do you get the idea I was saying that the FFL can give you the firearm BEFORE it submits the paperwork.
What I quoted states that the day the paperwork is submitted it NOT counted in the 7 day wait. Still have to submit the paperwork, then wait 7 days.
Now, if the FFL waits a month to submit the paperwork, then you get to wait 1 month + 7 days.
