In an attempt o actually enjoy the thin hobby, rather than feel guilty every time I fire a round of .223 I am building a .22 upper for my ar. But I have few questions to make sure I do this 100% correctly.

I have a cmmg wasp .22 barrel, and a .22 conversion bolt. I still need an upper assembly.

Question is, do I need to use a 22 upper for the barrel, or will any standard upper assembly do? Also can I use that conversion bolt, or do I need a .22 bolt?

Any other major piece that I am not thinking about?
