Not sure there will be any paid positions, much like the Cease Fire Task force.

This one was requested by the Governor.

Will not let me "witness signup" on MyMGA

The MDGA has adopted a restricted window when you may "witness signup;" each committee sets its own rules. For the House Judiciary Committee, its two days prior to the in-person hearing, 8am-6pm. For the Senate JPR, it's the day before, 8am-6pm. You can find the individual requirements on the Committees link, then choose House/Senate, then pick the committee. There should be a link for that committee's particular registration restrictions. Example:

I'm sure the Senators and Delegates appreciate the reduction in witness testimony this structure results in.

(and no, I didn't choose Delegate Atterbeary's committee for the example because she still hasn't contacted me about her missing underpants.)

Thanks MM. So, basically, I missed the "window"?

I've been trying to get my (Favorable/Unfavorable) clicks in, but I think you have to set up a new "list" each time. It is very difficult to do, and as hard as I try, I do have a full time job. Last list I signed up for probably a dozen bills and it took me hours in between working. They sure make it hard to be "involved".

Do you know what people who have no idea what they're doing do? They create task forces. This guy has one for EVERYTHING.

I've just been selecting "Unfavorable" and "No testimony" for a couple of years now. It may have the desired effect, especially if we could get a substantial portion of the members here to do that. I was told that the legiscritters actually look at the numbers of Favorable/Unfavorable.

As long as the "Center" recognized that 2/3 of "gun violence" is suicide and that one of the largest groups is white males over 50, then anything proposed is trash and not addressing the problem.

This is just a plan to get folks off Bloomberg's payroll at JHU and get them a state job.
