04/05/23 Metrobus Stabbing Fatality in Wheaton

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A victim has died after being stabbed following an argument on a Metrobus in Wheaton on Wednesday afternoon.

Montgomery County Police say the call came in around 12:25 p.m. Two adult males were arguing on a Metrobus. They exited the bus near University Blvd. West and Amherst Ave.

The male suspect stabbed the victim and ran away. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

Officers secured the area and the alleged suspect is in custody at the Silver Spring Metro. MCPD waiting for a Red Line train to stop and observed a man matching the suspect description getting off the train.

When the always estimable David Dinkins was mayor of NYC there was an incident where a teen from the mid-west was there with his family and was fatally stabbed in an attack. Mayor Dinkins made a public statement that it was more evidence why stricter gun control was needed. What a douche bag!

The argument started on the bus , the exited the bus in original condition; argued further and stabbed on sidewalk , then the stab- er ran to metro station to attempt getaway on red line .

WTF...first we had guns animating themselves and victimizing people of their own assumed volition...and now we have knives starting to do the same thing?!? Let me guess- we need to ban knives because they are sharp and can be used to harm people, and even ONE life lost to shooting, stabbing or slashing is far too many!
