Had my Marlin (Remlin) 795 out today. Tech Sights on it makes it a great offhand shooter for steel at 100 yards. It has an upgraded trigger for a nice crisp feel. It was my first semi 22 that I got back in 2012 when a 10/22 was unobtanium. Shot 175 rounds of Automatch so it’s cheap fun.

Simple and easy to pull apart and a thick barrel that keeps it from stringing as it heats up.

I has a scope on it at the beginning but I think tech sights are a winner for this and keeps it light weight

I was nervous about buying a bullpup chassis that doesn't seem to have had any real reviews or sales for several years and had a moment of panic when I thought I just should have bought an HTA 90/22.

But I am very happy with it - went together as it should, reliable and accurate in testing yesterday at the range with 10 and 25 round mags, the compound leverage trigger makes the trigger lighter than the factory trigger (3.5 pounds vs 5 - though the reset is super long), it is very compact (fits in the same case as my takedown), easy to clean (just take off the back), and it is balanced despite some extra heft.

Guess I need to try an AQT with it!

Hmm...that isn't exactly "elegant" looking, eh?:innocent0 So...:tap: what the heck IS it and where can I get one? :D

Center Balance 10/22 “Ranger” bullpup chassis built around a base model “optics ready” 10/22 action and barrel. Elegant - yeah, no. But wouldn’t call it clumsy or random either :)

    http://www.cbalanced.com and https://cbrps.com

As you can tell by the first website, these guys aren’t particularly slick or modern from a marketing perspective - in fact, I had a moment of panic after ordering that they were out of business and my money went to some scammer. But they shipped very quickly and it was everything they promised.

I don’t own any other bullpup rifles but have always been intrigued by the concept. Figured this was cheaper than a Maryland compliant Tavor, Desert Tech, etc. (although, the HTA was cheaper). Wouldn’t be the first or only rimfire rifle I would own, but definitely different!

Maybe I will do a Forgotten Weapons style write up on it for posterity.

They really need to make a version for the 9mm PCC. That banana clip :innocent0 looks like it'll get in the way really quick.

First Mark pistol of any kind. My favorite part is the mount and trigger.

Mark IV 22/45 Lite in black (43927)

    Lobos mount with 507K

    SilencerCo Warlock II

    Striplin thumbrest

    Volquartsen parts;

    Competition kit

    Extended mag release

    Upgraded bolt release

    Upgraded safety spring

LOK grips can't get here soon enough as the stock ones are pretty lackluster.

Rear mainspring texturing already got some sandpaper too.

Great looking pistol - love the lower red dot mount as well.

Thank you. The mount is honestly what got me to pull the trigger on this entire project. I just wasn't a fan of the top 1913 rail and bulky mounts/dot that I was seeing in a lot of 22/45 setups. When I found the low-pro Lobos mount it convinced me I could come up with a setup I liked.

And I bought the 507k because I was being impatient and didn't realize he makes a 507C mount as well. I was initially worried the K would be too small but either of them would work on the pistol. In hindsight I'm glad I got the K because the red dot size works great.

Sweet. My MK2 with can is my favorite indoor pistol. Sounds like a staple gun. Might have to try one with a red dot sometime.

Why thank you kind sir, you as well. Very nice setup.
Have you thought about a red dot for it?

I recently purchased a Trijicon SRO for my M&P and I’m really enjoying it. I have a feeling the MKIV will be getting one soon.
