I have a 10/22 that is mostly made up of TacSol and Volquartsen parts.
I have a MKIV 22/45 Lite. So why do I want this? Because this is America.

My goal is to get a Ruger Charger takedown. Cut the barrel down to 4.5-5”, thread it, get an Enoch Industries Chassis, Folding SB tactical brace and mount my Silencerco Warlock II on it. Has anyone done something similar? If so, post some pics for inspiration.

I have never even looked twice at the Rugers but what inspires you is suddenly inspiring me. Currently in the midst of an ar9 build but perhaps this should be next. That looks fun

How about an SBR build with a standard 10.5" barrel charger? Copper Custom makes an adapter that lets you put an AR butt stock on it.

I would most likely SBR it but I would still keep the barrel at 4.5-5”.

For anyone interested, parts are starting to come in. PMACA Chassis and KIDD barrel. I will keep this thread updated throughout the build.

Did you have the barrel cut down or buy it like that? I didn't think they made a shorty like that. It's gonna look great

Ruger Charger receiver And bolt
KIDD trigger, barrel, and spring kit.
SB Tactical folding mechanism & Brace
Magpul K2 grip
Primary Arms Slx MD25 red dot sight.

Are you going to SBR it? I guess there's no need to, it's pretty awesome the way it is.

Thank you. I have a bunch of SBR's and I'm normally not a fan of braces. I'm going to make an exception for this one and keep it as is.

I'd save the 200 bucks, looks great as is. Get a chance to shoot it yet?
