The new Walther PPQ Q4 Tactical

I recently inquired about this handgun(Walther PPQ Q4 Tac). The FFL I talked to stated that it wasn't on the MD roster and therefore was not transferable. This I understand, but I was wondering if the process of buying and shipping the gun to said FFL so they can put it in front the roster review committee for consideration is worth it... I hear it's a 3 month process... At which point I can do the ppwk on the gun assuming it is added to the roster.
If I wait for someone else to have it added, what are the chances that this gun gets added soon if I don't do all this.

Is it just an M2 Navy with upgraded sights?

Edit- Just saw that it had a mounting plate ready for Red dot. Hell yes, count me in.

Yea red dot ready and threaded barrel out of the box. But what should I do? Wait for it to hit the roster or try to add it myself?
I'm trying to understand how long it will take to get on the roster if I wait to buy it.
Basically will this end up on the roster at some point?
OR
Will this never end up on the roster unless I submit it and wait

And the next update will be 6/11 but form has to be in before 4/10. I know that’s not a lot of help but I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along to provide more detailed information on the process.

Call 2A Sales and see if they are already submitting one. If not, ask them what your options are.
