Where did you snag that and did they even know what they had?

On gunboards, yes they knew what it was and I paid a premium for it. It has been one of my wants for a while and a passed on a couple and finally settled on this one. I did forget to bid on one on Gunbrokers that wasn't listed as a double capture.

    Still looking for a SA 1943 91/30, a M44, and a 1895 Nagant.

Very nice! Congratulations on striking another item from the bucket list. We're both looking for 1895 Nagant revolvers. I'm determined to find a bring-back, can't stand the import marks.

You know, nothing about a Soviet Nagant gets me lathered up. I wish I had bought one when they were $99 but honest to god I can go to my grave without one and not lose a minute of sleep. It would be cool to have an SA marked one but they just do much for me and for shizzle ain’t gonna pay $395 for a refurb.

Pahtu on Gunboards had a nice one for $600 recently and it sold right before I could make up my mind to get it.

OK you two - STOP it! I get the first Finned Nagant that pops up!! :D

metalman - VERY nice "cap/recap". They're very uncommon and unknown to most casual collectors. You're definitely building a solid Finn collection

I have a couple and keep my eye out for them, but as my first is kind of the king of all cap/recaps - I really just look to see if they are undervalued before purchasing these days.

I wouldn't either for today's prices. Glad I grabbed two when they were cheap :)
