    Does anybody have one of these old shotguns with the Damascus barrel?

    This 12Ga. shotgun was made just after Spencer took over Bannerman. The barrel is marked Spencer, RPTG. Shot Gun, Pat, APL. 1882. The receiver is marked F. Bannerman, Manufactured, New York USA, Model 1896.

    Is this the same Bannerman that had the milsurp company? For which "Bannerman Castle" is named?
