Maybe the town should make itself a "safe space" that weekend to see how the college kids like their own medicine.

That's the week we'll be in town and I wanted to hit the beach Friday or Saturday with the kids. Guess we'll stick to the Delaware beaches.
Keep them off the boardwalk and you'll save $200 :)

"College aged". As if to insinuate it's just a bunch of kids out to have a good time. What a crock of sh*t. I guess that's like the news calling 18 and 19 year olds that receive their comeuppance from police "teenagers". I really do hate this planet sometimes.

    SO......

Did anything MDS newsworthy happen down there last week?

My wife, infant daughter and I were there last weekend. No issues that we heard about. We actually went on the boardwalk both Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday was a lot busier, I didn't feel uneasy about being there either. Granted, we were out of there by 9pm both nights.

Yeah, I screwed up....I didn't realize this "black college kid" thing was for JULY...not June. :o

I am looking forward to seeing how the locals react, since the people who live there all whine & complain about the cars doing burnouts down there twice a year...and think it's a HUGE problem... :innocent0

Damn shame the place seems to be going downhill more and more every year...The wife & I have no desire to go there again.

OC cleared the air on Topless I think a week or two ago. It was never declared topless and a bunch of stink was floating around on social media making it sound like it was.
    It's not.

We were in the boardwalk till 10pm sat night. Plenty of police coverage walking, bikes, and horse mounted

    another beach event

gotta place in mid-town. heading down 21st. maybe i'll take the armory-----since Gunsmoke is nearby!
a lot of this is hype, it's a small minority that make the rest look bad. Memorial weekend same way with drunken coll graduates.

OCPD are bunch of, dare i say pu$$es. Bring in 20 cops from PG county and the problem is fixed in one weekend!

Yeah, because they are doing such a great job with PG County.

You'd have better luck with the Pagan's or waiving CCW laws for the week.

You do know there are probably more newbie, inexperienced seasonal cops with their .38s on duty than there are full time on any given shift, right? I don't expect too many people with a 4 week familiarization academy knows enough to be aggressive.

No one hires on as a seasonal cop in OC to be a cop.
They hire on to hang out in Ocean City.

I'd apply except they can't carry Billy Clubs any more...cuz they were too intimidating... :mad54:

I'd gladly be the Wood Shampoo apply-er.... :innocent0

Oh, you want to be a hard head??? CRACKKKKKKK...... :party29:

Don't ever recall any loud mouth a-holes messing with an old school city cop who was standing there twirling his nightstick... ya know, before they started calling them a "baton"...
