I have my Lee dies but I can find little reloading data for the 7.5 French round. I plan to use 150g .308 FMJ bullets. I like IMR 4064 or Varget powders. Is there anyone who has reloaded this round with good and safe results?

    Old Salt,
I PM'd you with a link to what you're looking for.
Funny how 4064 and/or 4895 can load just about anything Milsurp.

When I used to shoot M1936 through M49/56's, I would use .308 brass and Hornady 150gn bullets and 4895 powder. Because the brass expanded on firing ( 7.5 was wider at the base), I would always fireform my cases with 10 or 15 grains of reddot and cream of wheat before firing real cartridges. I don't have the load data anymore but I believe I started with 40gns of Imr 4895 and adjusted till I got the autos to run which was about 42 grains. For 4064, you can start at 2 grains more than 4895

    Have fun.

The Hornady load manual has data for the 7.5mm MAS. IMR 4064 and Varget are both listed powders and there are ten options for Hornady bullets for 150gr. CCI #34 primers are recommended.

In the French semi autos, #34 primers are mandatory unless you lighten the firing pin. Otherwise it will slam fire though the whole mag.

I sent Old Salt a PM with the Hornady data.

There is a ton of data on Ammoguide and LoadData, but they are pay sites where most of the data is just copies of the published manuals.
