Who in here is a Surgeon Rifle owner>? What's your thoughts and experiences with the rifle, what caliber, what stock is it built on, and what optic? How do you think it compares to others in its class?

I have a Surgeon RSR single shot action that I had Ed Harren mount a 30 inch Bartline barrel and chamber in .308 Winchester for F-Class. It has an adjustable McMillian Baker Special (not the best choice for F-Class) and a Sighttron 8x32 scope. The rifle shoots x's at 600 and 1000 yards if I do my part. I shoot at Bridgeville. I do not believe they make this action any longer. I would take a 591 in a second.

    Good luck

I have a 591R with a Hawk Hill barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor in a JAllen chassis. Short Action Customs did the work.
