Bullseye guys I used to know would take their pistol into the eye exam and show them the exact distance from eye to front sight. :)

There was (maybe still is) female ophthalmologist at Chesapeake Eye who would have you bring your rifle in so she could get the proper focal length. I know quite a few high power shooters that used her services.

I had my wife measure from my eye to my front sight both in one handed bullseye and two handed shooting form. I had the Rx set for two handed shooting since that is the majority of shooting I do. The examiner checked both distances and the same Rx worked in bullseye form.
