I didn't know where else to post this, so I will leave it here.
Admins, please move it to it's proper place if necessary, thanks.
I bought an SW Shield 9mm 3.5" bbl from a fellow member.
Recently I traded for some ammo. The ammo in question is Remington Golden Saber 147gr BJHP (BONDED JHP).
After reading the Lucky Gunner ammo test, I'm not so sure if I want/can shoot this in the Shield.
According to the Lucky Gunner test this ammo exceeds the FBI protocol of 12"-18" penetration in gelatin. Which means over penetration could result in the bullet exiting a body with the possibility of hitting an innocent bystander.
Certainly not something that I want to be concerned with IF I ever had to use it.
Am I reading to much into this, or it is a real concern?
Thanks in advance for any information.
