Metal Ammo Cans @ Harbor Freight

Picked up a few today. Brand new and solid. Price is reasonable too.

Serious question. I bought one like that from Walmart for $9.99 2 years ago. Is there a difference between this one and the one sold in Walmart?

Yes. All the cheap metal ammo cans are made in China. The paint smell is funny too. I wonder if it is toxic paint.

I have a dozen+ of those from HF, they are actually better than the similar cans from EBay and Amazon and the rubber seal for the lid works well. Some similar cans Ive purchased then given away would not stack well, my HF cans stack perfectly. IMO can’t beat them for the $.

Hmmm. The can from Walmart has no rubber seal of any kind. I throw in desiccant packets from my other purchases to keep moisture out.
