Brian I'll keep it real......AWESOME looking tool, waste of money!! A knife like that is a tool first, SD second. If the point is intriguing then check out the benchmade triage. Multiple different points, reputable dealer, lifetime sharpening and warranty, and much cheaper.

This will do everything that's designed to do and then some. I own the flat tipped version that I use for door lock prying

Thats what I was thinking too.

I'll have to hit the local knife store and check out that Spyderco. It looks like what i'm looking for. Plus it can go tip up or tip down

My old Superknife is on its last legs and being held together with locktite. Its time for an upgrade

Needs a picatinny rail for a tactical meat thermometer. Then it will be an awesome kitchen knife.

I LOVE reverse tanto, flat point, and sheepsfoot blades, the edge is nice and low for good precision and power, and the tip is strong with good control, it can be a great utility blade. One of my favorite folders I carried years ago was a CRKT Razel, and had a couple locking folders with essentially a straight razorish blade with a thin and high hollow grind. The knife definitely looks cool, and with good components like the S35VN blade and a bearing pivot it isn't unusual to see at that cost. I'm sure it would be good for shearing, but with the flipper in the way, might be tough to actually chop with it, and I'm not a fan of liner locks anyway. THe handle is stright, so probably not the most secure or comfortable. They could have ground the edge higher too, would be worried about a thick edge, or a short life when sharpened, although the 4mm thickness is thick, it's not ridiculous. There is a lot more at that price I like better, although not saying it is a "bad" knife, it is definitely unique and probably useful.
