I built a few MAME arcade games about 15yrs ago and I found some old hardware I never got around to doing anything with. We'll It's been collecting dust for a while and I've got to make room for another safe.

If you are into this sort of hobby then these may be a good find.

PM me if interested I'll post once gone.

Here are two retrofits that I kept. Maybe someday when I move, I'll post a real good Karma.

I used to play Moon Patrol when I was a kid. Loved that game. I remember thinking how good a suspension that vehicle had.

Funny how you remember things like that after 30+ years.

Well I just got a PM from a member who thinks he can use these for some Educational STEM project. Sounds like they will be put to good use. Consider them karma'd for now but if it doesn't work out I'll post them again.

BTW my favorite games were driving games.

Just loved Pole Position, Turbo, Super Sprint, Road Blasters, Spy Hunter. Battlezone too.

On the Sprint Machine the game I still love to play is Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off Road.

    Keep up the nostalgia.

What a coincidence, we went to a classic arcade today for the first time in many many years. It was very nostalgic.

Crap. Wish you'da said somethin'. I'da joined ya. I been there many times.

Nothin' like relivin' the good ol' days, this time with BEER. :D

I played the hell out of House of the Dead 1-3 but really, the classics are what ate all my allowance money.

Asteroids. Space Invaders. Galaga/Galaxian. Donkey Kong. Ms Pacman.

To this day I have a soft spot for 8-bit and survive as long as you can gameplay. Thrilled that cell phone games have ressurected the idea of gaming in short bursts, even if the gameplay mechanics are very different.

I owned one of these back in the day, until someone offered me over twice what I paid for it. I sometimes think I should have kept it anyway.

Rocco's Pizza in Severna Park had one back in the day. The good old days. Slice, Coke and a few games for $2
