google is your friend, I am not.
I am posting this as FYI, not because I agree with it. If you think that Bloomberg is enjoying his retirement on a beach, you are wrong. And if you think all the bad press weakening the NRA via The Trace, NYT, and the NY AG office is somehow a coincidence, you are also wrong. Divide and conquer is a time honored winning strategy. If you think Shannon Watts is just an empty skirt, also wrong. Bloomberg did not get to be a 40 billionaire by sitting on a beach. Just be thankful hes not running for president and the Democrats are all socialists these days. But make no mistake, he is working hard to get Republicans on his side because he understands politics, and we see it in FL and some other places.

I spent last Friday morning with thousands of volunteers from Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action. (I founded their partner organization, Everytown for Gun Safety.) They had come to Washington to do exactly that: Demand action.

Over the past few years, millions of Americans have joined together to push for common-sense legislation — and it’s working.

From Connecticut and Florida to Colorado and California, states have made strides on gun-safety legislation, especially when it comes to red-flag laws that deny guns to dangerous people. But state lines are porous: The shooter at the festival in California got his gun in Nevada. For common-sense reform to move forward everywhere, America’s post-massacre ritual has to stop. The anger must be sustained and channeled into political action — as it was in last year’s midterm elections, when volunteers from groups like Moms Demand Action elected dozens of gun-safety proponents to the House of Representatives.

Make no mistake about the agenda: no matter how reasonable Moms Demand sounds, Bloomberg supports the ridiculously restrictive laws in NYC, where you literally need a government permission slip to transport your gun to a gunsmith. This is the ultimate agenda. He is also somewhat racist and sees minorities as 2nd class humans incapable of freedom. He would disarm them in the face of white supremacism, no problem.
