    Soft Steel, Bad Tolerances, and Rough Machining.

    The 40-9 conversion barrels which are an awful idea, but others besides LW do them.

    Rough machining - agreed

    Soft Steel - not so sure

    Bad Tolerances - that's surprising since all my conversions run major calibers - 10mm, 9x25 Dillon, 40sw and 357sig - with zero issues in functioning....only time will tell I guess

    No 40 - 9 converaions here - 9mm is not my choice

    I will keep an eye out for the soft steel issue though
