Picked up my Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .44 special.

Really nice gun, my first single action. Eats lead cast boolits like candy. Switched out the factory grips with a Hogue Mono-grip, which fits my larger hands alot better. The factory grips were beating me up, as my little finger was actually under the grip.

    Its a great shooter.

    That's a purdy piece!

I'm very seriously considering doing PPW tomorrow on a new model Blackhawk .44 mag with a 10.5" bbl. Unless someone talks me out of it real soon...

Nice looking piece. One of my favorite revolvers.
I am going to wait until after 1 OCT before I think about one (because I spent all of my hobby money on other stuff).
