Anne Arundel Fish & Game Membership

Afternoon! Iím looking to join Anne Arundel Fish & Game as I live right down the road in Arnold. Iím familiar with the general process on joining, but not knowing any current members (and potential sponsors) is proving to be the biggest hurdle. Hopefully, Iíll be able to drop by the public trap shoot on Friday to make some introductions. It would be great to have a place so close to shoot some clays and use the archery range. Any suggestions are definitely welcome. Thanks in advance!

I am also curious about this. They are very close but I don't know much about the range and I almost never hear them mentioned on this forum and I'm not sure why.

Looks like every Thursday is open to the public for Trap.

I could be wrong but I think this place is "rules heavy"; what I've heard from a member.

I've never been there but I've worked "around the corner" for 20 years.

Yeah, if you like some MF'er finger fvcking your guns, asking you about them, then arguing about if that caliber is legal.....go for it.

Never mind the ubiquitous, "are you a member here" every time you go to the range even though you have your range badge on you.

It was worth it for me to pay on a per diem to go to DelMarVa and not put up with the shit.

My member friend prefers to drive past AAFG and head across the bridge to Sudlersville where he belongs as well.

Open Fridays for non member trap shooting. Also open for non members shooting in Bullseye, IDPA, USPSA and high power rifle. See the contacts on the web page for what you are interested in.

We do ask people who are not wearing their badges if they are members. The reason for this is that newspaper and real estate people have slipped in and started snooping around. As for calibers, the range rules basically tell you what you can shoot where.

It is restricted because the club was brought to court for noise and lost the case years ago.

You are correct, and I can't read a calendar for some reason today.

Anne Arundel Fish & Game Membership

Joining is quite a process. I'm planning to get a sponsor this weekend and start my membership application. I've been shooting IDPA for a few years there. Same know-it-all's you'd find at any other range, and plenty of cool people too.

Whoever set up our calendar must not have been taught the Sunday starts the week. I've never seen a calendar laid out like that and it confuses me still.
