Sticky traps with a dab of PB in middle over spring traps. Alternatively you could put a few drops of fox urine, found in hunting section of most sporting goods stores, in an area known to have activity. They should move along. Get it done before spring if you don't want to see any snakes.

We had a terrible time with field mice at our fire house since the bay doors are open a lot during the day. This was depite paying megabucks to the exterminator. One day we happened to notice a stray kitty had wandered in the station. The guys kinda adopted him. The first night he was with us, it was hard as hell to get any sleep. All you heard was a hop, skip, jump, and a crash, as someone would start humming "Another one bites the dust". He disappeared after about 5-6 days and we didn't see any mice for a long time!! I guess he moved on to greener pastures after he cleaned out the fire house.

Set traps and walk around the house looking for entry points. Take some steel wool, tear pieces off and stuff them in holes.

Eventually you will get them all.
